This was is a great idea. So great, I wish it was mine. When someone sends me a Twitter follow request, I really dislike going through the drill of searching for them on Facebook, then on LinkedIn. It is also a pain to click on three separate icons on someone's blog to follow, friend and link to them.
Enter: FullyFollow.me. Set up an account, choose what networks you want to display and throw your new URL out there. When you do, here's what people will see: http://www.fullyfollow.me/jeffsuever
Once they click the Fully Follow Me button, they are taken to the confirmation page for each social network they have chosen. Simple and fast. The way confirming social contacts should be. If they don't have a twitter account, or don't wish to connect to you via LinkedIn, etc. they have the option of unselecting those networks.
Your soon-to-be Friends and Followers do NOT need to set up a Fully Follow Me account unless they want to create their own url to share. Which is really something you should do now- especially if you have a common name and somebody already scooped your vanity URL on Twitter and Facebook.
One URL to promote your social connections. Brilliant. Right now FullyFollow.Me only covers the Big Three, but I am sure more are coming.
